Domínguez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Boca Unidos the free kick. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Club Atlético Boca Unidos's Eugenio Camerino got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Froilan Gil. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Atlético Boca Unidos's goalie and right to Serafin Loreto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Atlético Boca Unidos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Domínguez supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Domínguez would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
