The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Gau got free with Aureliano Jurgi in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciro Vincent's late challenge caught a Estrella de Plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Vincent helped the player get up and apologised. Anier Dantel walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Rolando Dolfos charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Dolfos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Loma's Rolando Dolfos got a free kick in the 20th minute. Estrella de Plata's Bernardo Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Dolfos in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Zacarias Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrella de Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Inautzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Jurgi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Seber in the 35th minute of play forced Estrella de Plata's goalkeeper Bernardo Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Tirso in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Inautzi in the 40th minute of play forced La Loma's goalkeeper Aureliano Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Loma's Aureliano Jurgi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save La Loma from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Estrella de Plata booed when La Loma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Dolfos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Lando to make the kick off. Estrella de Plata's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ulises Lando 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, Rolando Dolfos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Loren, 2-2. Aureliano Jurgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Martin Tirso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Loren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. With an all-out effort, La Loma's Bernardo Loren threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rolando Dolfos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zacarias Inautzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Aureliano Jurgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Jurgi came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Estrella de Plata's Zacarias Inautzi. But to his dismay, Zacarias Inautzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Aureliano Jurgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Inautzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estrella de Plata were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
