Spectators: 7171 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgard Ovando started the match with the kick off. If Robustiano Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 4 played minutes HDP got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Urtun. After 5 minutes, Fulgencio Olando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gongan FC and the HDP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Gongan FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Olando. Aristides Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Checa in the 9th minute of the match. Aristides Isias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armando Criston showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After 16 minutes, Osvaldo Oroitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HDP and the Gongan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Madaleno in the 20th minute of play forced Gongan FC's goalkeeper Aristides Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Ovando took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Playo. Gabriel Playo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Anastasio Gilen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Gongan FC's Aristides Isias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Checa in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Manuel Checa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aristides Isias. The goal made the score 2-1. After a rather tough play, Gongan FC's Claudio Cedro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Aristides Isias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Checa in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes HDP got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Checa. Gabriel Playo came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Gongan FC's Robustiano Transito. But to his dismay, Robustiano Transito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Madaleno made a kick off. Rodrigo Madaleno scored 3-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Isias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aristides Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Inautzi in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Madaleno in the 62nd minute of play forced Gongan FC's goalkeeper Aristides Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gongan FC's Aristides Isias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Madaleno in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Fulgencio Olando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Anastasio Gilen came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the HDP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Gilen couldn't finish the play. Claudio Cedro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Manuel Checa scored 4-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Isias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to HDP getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Mario Salomone hit a great ball. If Jeronimo Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Diego Inautzi notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Gongan FC's Aristides Isias. Aristides Isias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Madaleno in the 98th minute of play forced Gongan FC's goalkeeper Aristides Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the HDP players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
