Arcadia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Jakue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Selmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diecisiete F.C's Osvaldo Selmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Jakue in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Diecisiete F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Ekain came free, but Osvaldo Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Mattin in the 14th minute of play. When Severo Ekain came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Arcadia fans jumped to their feet. In the 24th minute Severo Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Selmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Diecisiete F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Garci to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Diecisiete F.C's zone, Teodoro Abilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Selmo came out of the goal and Teodoro Abilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Nataniel charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pastor Nataniel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Diecisiete F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Nataniel to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Diecisiete F.C's Urbano Uhin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Urbano Uhin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Diecisiete F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Urbano Uhin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Diecisiete F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arcadia:s goal. Osvaldo Selmo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Severo Ekain sent off a good shot on target. Arcadia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
