Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Severo Ekain made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Leones getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Leandro Pereyra hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Severo Ekain reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jimeno Berto. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Pereyra in the 10th minute of play forced Arcadia's goalkeeper Casado Moracia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Bilbo's late challenge caught a Leones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Bilbo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leones booed when Arcadia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Bilbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Benicio Eyague left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Desiderio Valerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Berto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Valerio ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Ranolfo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Severo Ekain was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 37 played minutes Leones got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Ranolfo. Severo Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes of play, Leones's Tomás Carlomagno made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casado Moracia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Pereyra was the one to do the kick off. Arcadia's Casado Moracia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Pereyra in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Valerio during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Desiderio Valerio hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Casado Moracia came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Leones's Tomás Carlomagno. But to his dismay, Tomás Carlomagno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 87th minute Cleto Mattin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Ekain in the 89th minute of play forced Leones's goalkeeper Jimeno Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Arcadia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Leones's performance. The match ended with a win for Leones.
