Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Valentine ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejo Txordon spun around in front of the goal 3 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Curhuani AFC's goal. In the 6th match minute, Winz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Lauren to maneuver through the defense. When Alejo Txordon came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Winz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Txordon couldn't finish the play. Niceto Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Txordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 12th match minute, Curhuani AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Olivar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Txordon in the 13th minute of play forced Curhuani AFC's goalkeeper Niceto Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Txordon in the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alejo Txordon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niceto Cristofol was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Everardo Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Cristofol having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, Curhuani AFC's Alfonso Lazcano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulgencio Quintun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Curhuani AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Txordon came free, but Niceto Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Everardo Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Valentine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejo Txordon scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niceto Cristofol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Israel Precioso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curhuani AFC the free kick. Israel Precioso hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Curhuani AFC's Alfonso Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Leocadio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Casimiro Tabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Everardo Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Valentine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 76th minute of the match Israel Precioso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Israel Precioso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 77th match minute, Winz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Precioso to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Valentine kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Curhuani AFC's Faustino Bernebe got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Alejo Txordon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casimiro Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Cristofol came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Winz FC's Alejo Txordon. But to his dismay, Alejo Txordon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. When the match was over Winz FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curhuani AFC throughout the match.
