The audience was convinced that Evaristo Paskal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Lauro was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Narciso Rodas in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Achiras's Julio Matia. Achiras's Rodolfo Conrao pulled a muscle in his leg after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Achiras's Filiberto Errapel was substituted for Rodolfo Conrao. 46 minutes into the match, Atiles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Paskal came free, but Robustiano Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Errapel in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Evaristo Paskal made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Atiles FC defense, Evaristo Paskal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robustiano Lauro. The Atiles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robustiano Lauro should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Jimeno Dalmu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Achiras's Rigoberto Librado. Rigoberto Librado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jose Calixto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. The supporters of Achiras booed when Atiles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Calixto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achiras made a substitution. Armando Fliz replaced Ceferino Luix. In the 72nd match minute, Atiles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Calixto to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Filiberto Errapel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Achiras's zone, Denis Osorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Librado came out of the goal and Denis Osorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Paskal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Robustiano Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achiras's Tadeo Iratzeder shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Robustiano Lauro but with some difficulty. If Evaristo Paskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Evaristo Paskal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 played minutes Atiles FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Rozarius. Robustiano Lauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Paskal went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
