An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Rocendo in the 17th minute of play forced 9-12-18 River Plate CA's goalkeeper Aaron Emeterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes destroyer got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Michael. Teodoro Urko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Baristo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Roman Rocendo succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Rocendo was the one to do the kick off. Niceto Belarmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Niceto Belarmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Belarmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Emeterio having to make a save. Roman Rocendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Emeterio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Belarmo's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Abelardo Baristo came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teodoro Urko could save by the left post. In the 82nd minute, Niceto Belarmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The destroyer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Maximino Eguen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, destroyer's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Eguen came free, but Teodoro Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Iyan struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Teodoro Urko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 9-12-18 River Plate CA. But to his dismay, Abelardo Baristo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.
