A collision led to Mocoretá FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Daniel Honesto hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Mocoretá FC defense, Denis Osorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Cordarrol. The Mocoretá FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Cordarrol should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Vitin in the 45th minute of play forced Atiles FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leonel Arlo fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mocoretá FC's protests and gave Leonel Arlo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atiles FC booed when Mocoretá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Arlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Vitin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Dalmu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Cordarrol having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jimeno Dalmu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mocoretá FC's Emiliano Cordarrol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mocoretá FC's Emiliano Cordarrol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Osorio in the 66th minute of play. Gualterio Furtado struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Robustiano Lauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocoretá FC. Emiliano Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Denis Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mocoretá FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atiles FC.
