Luca's Victor Joey got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Victor Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Peruxu in the 24th minute of play. Evelio Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Osmundo having to interfere. Victor Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eloy Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Gavilán got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Rameriz. Victor Joey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Victor Joey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Flavio Duardo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Pedro Peruxu sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eloy Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Evelio Lope left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some careless play in the Gavilán defense, Evelio Lope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Osmundo. The Gavilán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Osmundo should have stopped the shot. Gavilán's Eloy Osmundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Lope in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gavilán's Roberto Rameriz got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gavilán's Pedro Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 minutes, Arturo Sarracino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luca and the Gavilán players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arturo Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Pedro Peruxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Duardo having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Arturo Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Edwardo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Duardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavilán's Roberto Rameriz suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Luca getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ezequiel Darien hit a great ball. Nereo Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Duardo having to interfere. Luca's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
