When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Evelio Lope took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Higinio Gurutz to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that David Lucian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Duardo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Victor Joey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Gurutz was a little too slow when Evelio Lope got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. Evelio Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Gurutz having to interfere. Primitivo Formerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Formerio in the 36th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, David Lucian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Duardo. Luca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Lucian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Lope was the one to do the kick off. Flavio Duardo was a little too slow when David Lucian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-3. Delmar Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Pascual Pancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Luca's goal looked a bit too open when David Lucian came free, but Flavio Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Grabiel in the 70th minute of play. Higinio Gurutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Lope, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Victor Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Higinio Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bañado's Higinio Gurutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Lope in the 82nd minute of play. Delmar Etxatxu charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Etxatxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bañado's Delmar Etxatxu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Higinio Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Joey in the 86th minute of the match. When Arturo Sarracino fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luca's protests and gave Arturo Sarracino a yellow card for diving instead. Arturo Sarracino hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th of the match, David Lucian tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Flavio Duardo got in the way and made a wonderful save.
