Benedicto Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 11th minute Benedicto Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Gonzales having to interfere. If Benedicto Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgard Laurendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Amancio Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chiyuyoc booed when Los Halcones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Anastasio Orti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Orlondon skillfully saved the ball. Edgard Laurendi scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Gonzales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basilio Aires took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amancio Gonzales. Chiyuyoc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Porfirio during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ignacio Porfirio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Chiyuyoc's Amancio Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Laurendi in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Chiyuyoc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Laurendi in the 42nd minute of play forced Chiyuyoc's goalkeeper Amancio Gonzales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Laurendi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Los Halcones FC's goalkeeper Joel Orlondon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Quin. The Chiyuyoc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Halcones FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Laurendi to make the kick off. When Edgard Laurendi came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Los Halcones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Laurendi couldn't finish the play. Benedicto Marquez struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Amancio Gonzales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Halcones FC. After a defensive mix-up in Chiyuyoc's zone, Benedicto Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Gonzales came out of the goal and Benedicto Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Chiyuyoc getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ezequiel Lucian hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match Ismael Eudoxio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amancio Gonzales showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgard Laurendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Xacintu during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amancio Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Laurendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Benedicto Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper, Amancio Gonzales, was totally fooled by Los Halcones FC's Ismael Eudoxio, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 94 minutes into the match, Los Halcones FC's Benedicto Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Gonzales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Benedicto Marquez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Los Halcones FC played a much better game than Chiyuyoc and deserved their victory. The Chiyuyoc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
