With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Sayveon in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Matai saved Club Atlético San Lorenzo from getting behind. If Victor Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Atlético San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Teofilo Socorro hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético San Lorenzo defense, Victor Sayveon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Matai. The Club Atlético San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Matai should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Calvino was the one to do the kick off. Though ot was a great shot Club Atlético San Lorenzo's keeper Ramon Matai was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Elias Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético San Lorenzo's Silverio Chago got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Hermon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huang Lin Fan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Calvino in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Se lesionó Gago FC's goalkeeper Huang Lin Fan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silverio Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huang Lin Fan having to interfere. Jacobo Iratze hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Gogo Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Se lesionó Gago FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Hermon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Matai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Elias Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
