But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Laurendi couldn't finish the play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Edgard Laurendi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Triunvirato's Gualterio Fonda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Triunvirato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Quirze to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Benedicto Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute of the match, Edgard Laurendi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gualterio Fonda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 47th minute, when Los Halcones FC's Ismael Eudoxio after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Gualterio Fonda in Triunvirato's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Argi to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Argi in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Hermengildo Argi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joel Orlondon made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Enrique Olo sent off a good shot on target. If Edgard Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Los Halcones FC's Edgard Laurendi got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Triunvirato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Quirze to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Benedicto Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Fonda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Triunvirato's Ciriaco Toribio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Los Halcones FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Triunvirato to leave the ground with a draw.
