Lino Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Orlondon having to interfere. In the 37th minute Teofilo Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Laurendi was the one to do the kick off. Joel Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Burni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Orlondon having to interfere. A collision led to Los Halcones FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Salvador Ferran hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Laurendi in the 80th minute of play forced VIZCACHA FULBO's goalkeeper Haroldo Lidon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Laurendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Haroldo Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Aquiles Txatxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VIZCACHA FULBO and the Los Halcones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Halcones FC booed when VIZCACHA FULBO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Los Halcones FC's Benedicto Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Lidon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0.
