Elias Calvino started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Elias Calvino made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Matadores FC's Jacobo Lixandro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute Elias Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Lixandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Demesio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Matai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Silverio Chago charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Chago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacobo Lixandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Calvino in the 24th minute of the match. Silverio Chago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Lixandro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Benicio Jerico hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Elias Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jacobo Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Rainerio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Matai came out and tried to block the shot, but Santo Rainerio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 34th minute. After 37 minutes of play Matadores FC's Gaudencio Alvarez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Matadores FC's Gaudencio Alvarez got a free kick in the 37th minute. Jacobo Lixandro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético San Lorenzo's Elias Calvino. But to his dismay, Elias Calvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jacobo Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Demesio made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Lixandro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Fresco. Leopoldo Errando charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Errando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Leopoldo Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Club Atlético San Lorenzo's Teofilo Socorro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aldo Txomin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Matai having to interfere. Silverio Chago struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jacobo Lixandro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético San Lorenzo. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Jacobo Lixandro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 72 minutes of play, Matadores FC's Romulo Demesio made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Matai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silverio Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Sotero during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saturnino Sotero kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Elias Calvino sped through Matadores FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Lixandro. Jacobo Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Calvino in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Matadores FC's zone, Elias Calvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Lixandro came out of the goal and Elias Calvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Matadores FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atlético San Lorenzo's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atlético San Lorenzo.
