Ubaldo Raulo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Sabino went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Tab in the 34th minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Gaston Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chuscha's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Bertin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Nereo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Bertin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chuscha fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgrano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
