Marcial Sanduru charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Sanduru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 48 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Sanduru. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Carlos Sabino made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Sabino in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Marino saved FC Langfield from getting behind. Carlos Sabino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Marino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Oscar Liberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
