Marcos Marino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Jerrold's late challenge caught a Old Smuggler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Jerrold helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, FC Langfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Jerrold to maneuver through the defense.
