Patricio Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Jax having to interfere. Benjamesis FC's Segundo Gartzi got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Celso Orain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Comandante Andresito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benjamesis FC the free kick. After 22 played minutes Comandante Andresito got a freekick which was hit by Celso Orain. 27 minutes into the match, Comandante Andresito's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Ongile came free, but Delmiro Gorbea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Celestino Gaitan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Jax was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Patricio Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Jax having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Patricio Sotero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Gaitan was the one to do the kick off. Segundo Gartzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Jax didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Sotero went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Celestino Gaitan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Comandante Andresito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Gaitan couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Benjamesis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Ereinotz came free, but Arnulfo Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Fidel Rubio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmiro Gorbea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Patricio Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Koldo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Arsenio Sengrat fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Comandante Andresito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Benjamesis FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
