Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celestino Gaitan started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Holmberg's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Gaitan came free, but Elpidio Cidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Elpidio Cidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Clementi came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Delmiro Gorbea could save by the left post. In the 14th minute, Israel Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holmberg's Elpidio Cidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Sotero in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Martin Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Virgilio Amato shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmiro Gorbea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Benedicto Ereinotz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Cidro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Elpidio Cidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes Comandante Andresito got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Ereinotz. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ezequiel Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holmberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Izotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Gorbea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Cidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Sengrat in the 35th minute of the match. Martin Bazil took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Gorbea. Delmiro Gorbea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rodolfo Rumaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmiro Gorbea having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 56th minute Celestino Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Cidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes, Martin Bazil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holmberg and the Comandante Andresito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Holmberg got a freekick which was hit by Martin Bazil. Patricio Sotero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rodolfo Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Gorbea having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Leo Clementi made a precise shot to the right of Delmiro Gorbea. Comandante Andresito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Comandante Andresito booed when Holmberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Rumaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmiro Gorbea having to make a save.
