In the 20th minute, Arnaldo Ishmael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Florencio Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Esquipula's late challenge caught a Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Giuseppe Garibaldi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Barcelona from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
