In the 12thth minute of the game Bartolo Garci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Comandante Andresito's Delmiro Gorbea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnaldo Gotzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Bartolo Garci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Gorbea. Comandante Andresito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Garci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Sotero got free with Benjamin Inocente in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. alianza's Benjamin Inocente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save alianza from getting a goal against them. Bartolo Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Gorbea having to interfere. alianza's Arnaldo Gotzon got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee ignored Comandante Andresito's protests and gave Delmar Mergildo a yellow card for diving instead. Delmar Mergildo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bartolo Garci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Rufo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Delmiro Gorbea. Comandante Andresito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Celestino Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comandante Andresito's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Gaitan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Inocente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute Bartolo Garci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Gorbea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
