Cayastacito were furious when Narciso Manni was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 3rd minute, one of Cayastacito:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cayastacito. The goalkeeper, Eloy Koldobika, was totally fooled by Benjamesis FC's Fidel Rubio, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Marcos Chorche came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cayastacito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Chorche couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfredo Jaunzuria in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Jax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Koldo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Benjamesis FC's Arnulfo Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Jaunzuria in the 14th minute of play. Arnulfo Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Jaunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Godfredo Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Chorche might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Jax. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Chorche ran back to his position shaking his head. After 21 played minutes Benjamesis FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Eneko. Benjamesis FC's Segundo Gartzi got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Koldobika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Chorche might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Jax. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Chorche ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnulfo Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Jaunzuria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Benjamesis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Uhin to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Cayastacito's goalkeeper Eloy Koldobika had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Gartzi. In the 43rd minute Ismael Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Koldobika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Fidel Rubio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Koldobika skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Benjamesis FC booed when Cayastacito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Urtzi didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 51st match minute, Benjamesis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Eneko to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Godfredo Jaunzuria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes Benjamesis FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Loiola. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Godfredo Jaunzuria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayastacito's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Jaunzuria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Vicente Koldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Benjamesis FC booed when Cayastacito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Marcos Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayastacito's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Chorche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnulfo Jax didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Jaunzuria went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 87 minutes, Marcos Chorche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cayastacito and the Benjamesis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Godfredo Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Arnulfo Jax didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayastacito. Godfredo Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Jax having to interfere. Cayastacito were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Benjamesis FC to leave the ground with a draw.
