Prospero Porfirio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 29th minute, Serafin Galsino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Prospero Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, El Prado es Boca's Ubaldo Arnas got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 89th match minute, Club Atlético River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Menendo to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Berbiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Galsino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético River Plate's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
