Nicasio Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Lordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicasio Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Hacha y Tiza getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marcos Ponc hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Circulo de Brujas defense, Claudio Stephen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Lordi. The Circulo de Brujas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Lordi should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Circulo de Brujas's Lisandro Cordareo threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florencio Semeno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nicasio Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Lordi having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Circulo de Brujas got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Eneas. Nicasio Santana struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Dario Lordi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hacha y Tiza. Dario Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Stephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Arnoldo Palben hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Circulo de Brujas's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Stephen came free, but Dario Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dario Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicasio Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Semeno made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Edgard Cloyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Hacha y Tiza's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Semeno came free, but Lisandro Cordareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hacha y Tiza's goalkeeper Lisandro Cordareo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Circulo de Brujas got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Palben. In a very dangerous position, a player in Circulo de Brujas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Hacha y Tiza. Benito Pelagius stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dario Lordi. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Rios during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Circulo de Brujas got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Gaitan. 98 minutes into the game, Hacha y Tiza's Nicasio Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Lordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Hacha y Tiza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
