Pedro Luar kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vino Tinto defense, Roque Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Galsino. The Vino Tinto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Galsino should have stopped the shot. Baldomero Gonsalvo's late challenge caught a Euscadi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Gonsalvo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Vino Tinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Gonsalvo to maneuver through the defense. Euscadi AFC's Paulino Obano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Euscadi AFC from getting a goal against them. Vino Tinto's Pedro Udalaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Felipe Chorche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Euscadi AFC's Paulino Obano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Euscadi AFC from getting a goal against them. After 78 minutes, Vladimiro Montxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vino Tinto and the Euscadi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Euscadi AFC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Euscadi AFC's Roque Abreu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Euscadi AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
