In the 22nd minute Feliciano Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Jokin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Cleto Gaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Oinaz in the 48th minute of play forced Circulo de Brujas's goalkeeper Dario Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliciano Cortez was the one to do the kick off. Circulo de Brujas's Dario Lordi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Circulo de Brujas from getting a goal against them. Feliciano Cortez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Dario Lordi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 57th minute, Feliciano Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermengildo Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Gaitan in the 60th minute of play. Hermengildo Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Semeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zetta FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
