Everardo Rafel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iker Illan went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Yutuyaco's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano George came free, but Manuel Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ignacio Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Gar in the 19th minute of play. Yutuyaco's Ceferino Gar got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Iker Illan came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Yutuyaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Illan couldn't finish the play. Everardo Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Gar in the 24th minute of play. Everardo Rafel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Gar's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the funesdios defense, Iker Illan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Rafel. The funesdios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Rafel should have stopped the shot. Iker Illan took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Rafel. Everardo Rafel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 37 minutes, Fulgencio Balesio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yutuyaco and the funesdios players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Yutuyaco got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Balesio. Ceferino Gar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Rafel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, funesdios's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Illan came free, but Everardo Rafel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ceferino Gar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Rafel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Ignacio Marcones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yutuyaco's Manuel Eguen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano George in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Eguen saved Yutuyaco from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano George in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Eguen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Manuel Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Iraido hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Manuel Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Marcones in the 83rd minute of the match. Gavino Gergori's late challenge caught a Yutuyaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yutuyaco's Jeremias Salvino got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Manuel Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano George in the 96th minute of play. The funesdios supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yutuyaco's performance. The match ended with a win for Yutuyaco.
