Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Iker Illan made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Illan in the 3rd minute of play forced CA Temperley's goalkeeper Laureano Erramu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Menendo in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Eguen saved Yutuyaco from getting behind. 10 minutes into the game, Marcos Osasun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yutuyaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Temperley the free kick. Manuel Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Menendo in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Menendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Eguen was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Manuel Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Menendo in the 31st minute of play. When Daniel Esquipula came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the CA Temperley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Esquipula couldn't finish the play. After having played for 36 minutes, Nicolas Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Temperley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Nicolas Menendo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Manuel Eguen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute Nicolas Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Nicolas Menendo made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Eguen. Yutuyaco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Yutuyaco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CA Temperley were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Menendo made a kick off. Nicolas Menendo took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Eguen. Manuel Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Nicolas Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Severo Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Yutuyaco getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fulgencio Balesio hit a great ball. Nicolas Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Manuel Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Menendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Manuel Eguen made a huge save. Laureano Erramu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Nicolas Menendo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Menendo got free with Manuel Eguen in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Nunez Larra in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CA Temperley's Osvaldo Unai. After some careless play in the Yutuyaco defense, Nicolas Menendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Eguen. The Yutuyaco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Eguen should have stopped the shot. If Nicolas Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Jaunzuria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Manuel Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nicolas Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over CA Temperley could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yutuyaco throughout the match.
