Spectators: 7075 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Serafino Dolcet got the match started through his kick off. Gaston Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Silvano Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Gaston Quico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Serafino Dolcet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Thomas was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 12 played minutes Carrizal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Socorro. In the 13th minute of the match Fausto Abeita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Thomas skillfully saved the ball. Angelo Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Darlington F.C 1883's Angelo Salvino in 25 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Basilio Thomas guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Gaston Quico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvano Hanni came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaston Quico slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute Gaston Quico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Darlington F.C 1883! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Quico was the one to do the kick off. Serafino Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Basilio Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafino Dolcet during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celedonio Crescencio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Angelo Salvino came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basilio Thomas could save by the left post. Angelo Salvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Basilio Thomas made a huge save. Leopoldo Urki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Abeita kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Serafino Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Basilio Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Thomas having to interfere. After having played for 98 minutes, Gaston Quico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrizal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Quico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 99 minutes into the match, Carrizal AFC's Leopoldo Urki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Hanni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carrizal AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
