Silvano Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Mantzio in the 4th minute of play. Angelo Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ivan Ceandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Angelo Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darlington F.C 1883's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Salvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Gaspar Pelayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Darlington F.C 1883's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Mantzio came free, but Silvano Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Leo Quilo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Javier Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvano Hanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Mantzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Darlington F.C 1883's Serafino Dolcet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Ceandro. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. 28 minutes into the game, TORPEDO's Javier Mantzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvano Hanni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Jerrald during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Feliciano Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Javier Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Javier Mantzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Javier Mantzio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Leo Quilo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silvano Hanni was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 58 minutes into the game, Darlington F.C 1883's Angelo Salvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of TORPEDO booed when Darlington F.C 1883 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Mantzio in the 74th minute of play forced Darlington F.C 1883's goalkeeper Silvano Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, Darlington F.C 1883's Serafino Dolcet made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Ceandro was left in no man's land by his defense there! TORPEDO's Leo Quilo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Javier Mantzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TORPEDO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Mantzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Quilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Silvano Hanni made a huge save. If Leo Quilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
