He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Israel Tomi. Edgard Cuarto charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Cuarto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celedonio Crescencio's late challenge caught a Faker F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Crescencio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carrizal AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Celedonio Crescencio hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Zacarias Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faker F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Lastur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Israel Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Quico in the 37th minute of play. Gaston Quico might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Tomi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Quico ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaston Quico made a kick off. The supporters of Carrizal AFC booed when Faker F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Carrizal AFC's Arnaldo Sendoa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Faker F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Quico came free, but Israel Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, Carrizal AFC's Leopoldo Urki made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Tomi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Carrizal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Lastur came free, but Basilio Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zacarias Lastur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basilio Thomas. That made the score 2-1 in the 65 minute of play. Israel Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Urki in the 69th minute of the match. Edgard Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Reynaldo Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Lastur in the 73rd minute of the match. Benicio Tonio, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Niceto Cordarin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 85th playminute. 89 minutes into the match, Gaston Quico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Tomi. Faker F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Quico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Gaston Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Israel Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carrizal AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Faker F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
