The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Gskinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cesar Bembe kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Fausto Abeita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Roque Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Silvano Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Ondino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Hanni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Darlington F.C 1883's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Handi came free, but Silvano Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes Darlington F.C 1883 got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Dolcet. The audience was convinced that Roque Ondino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Hanni was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The Gskinho fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Gskinho's Roque Ondino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Handi got free with Silvano Hanni in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd match minute, Darlington F.C 1883 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Herrera to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gskinho booed when Darlington F.C 1883 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Dario Guilabertus managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The Darlington F.C 1883 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gskinho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
