Arman Jönsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Gentza's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute Arnaldo Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Camerino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Moldes AFC's Victorio Ereinotz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 81 minutes of play, Moldes AFC's Victorio Ereinotz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgardo Camerino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basilio Argina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Camerino having to interfere. Sílvio Quadros hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Meandes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
