Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Banda FC's goalkeeper Joel Balendin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Florentino Garoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 15 played minutes Pigüé got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Urritz. Eusebio Dominguez, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Melquiades Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Garoa in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Florentino Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ricardo Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Pigüé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Urritz couldn't finish the play. Pigüé's Teo Milian pulled a muscle in his back after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Maju during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes La Banda FC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Maju. Florentino Garoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Melquiades Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Gogo Justin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Balendin. Gogo Justin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Florentino Garoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Justin was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Pigüé got a corner. La Banda FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Nazario ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ricardo Urritz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Joel Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Melquiades Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Florentino Garoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Justin took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Balendin. Joel Balendin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 71 minutes into the match, La Banda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Justin came free, but Joel Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fernando Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Justin in the 77th minute of play forced La Banda FC's goalkeeper Joel Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Corderro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Garoa in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Florentino Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Banda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Garoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Corderro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gogo Justin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Joel Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fernando Aballe came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the La Banda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Aballe couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the game, Florentino Garoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Melquiades Corderro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pigüé's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
