In the 3rd minute, Osvaldo Martxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Luken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Elazar in the 10th minute. PUYOL FC's Alejandro Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Piarres in the 18th minute of play. Fulgencio Piarres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alejandro Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulgencio Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Remicio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Aznaro in the 27th minute of play forced La Banda de la Patri's goalkeeper Freddy Luken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Aznaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 minutes, Damian Eli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Banda de la Patri and the PUYOL FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damian Eli hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. La Banda de la Patri's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ladislao Aznaro 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After having played for 48 minutes, Ladislao Aznaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PUYOL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Aznaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Aznaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Fabian Elazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, PUYOL FC's Fabian Elazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Luken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 60 minutes of play, PUYOL FC's Ladislao Aznaro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Luken was left in no man's land by his defense there! Everyone was convinced a goal was close when La Banda de la Patri's Ildefonso Abreu in the 66th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Alejandro Remicio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for PUYOL FC through an amazing save. When Ladislao Aznaro came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the PUYOL FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Aznaro couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Banda de la Patri's goalkeeper Freddy Luken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alejandro Remicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Abreu in the 75th minute of the match. Ramon Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ladislao Aznaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the match Justino Ixona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Luken skillfully saved the ball. Ladislao Aznaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddy Luken having to make a save. After 84 played minutes PUYOL FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Elazar. Freddy Luken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Elazar in the 92nd minute of play. Ildefonso Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PUYOL FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Banda de la Patri for a fine match.
