VILLA GALICIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ruben Edwardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Faron in the 30th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Mede to make the kick off. The supporters of VILLA GALICIA booed when Foyel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Steven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Frederik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Abelardo Urritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Foyel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Urritz should have stopped the shot. Eugenio Faron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Edwardo having to make a save. Cosme Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes, Fulgencio Niguel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VILLA GALICIA and the Foyel players grew even worse after the yellow card.
