Angelino Montes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Firmin got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 27th match minute before Freddy Luken had time to react. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Piarres in the 32nd minute of play forced KINETICO FC's goalkeeper Oscar Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Ezequiel Tomi put in a rough tackle. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KINETICO FC! The referee gave La Banda de la Patri a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristobal Sadurni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KINETICO FC's Oscar Afonso. 2-1. Angelino Montes might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Luken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelino Montes ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Luken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tauras Vilčinskas's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Humberto Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Banda de la Patri's Freddy Luken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Abad in the 44th minute of play. Tauras Vilčinskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Abreu was the one to do the kick off. Freddy Luken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelino Montes went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Humberto Gabirel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Freddy Luken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, KINETICO FC's Tadeo Abad made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Luken was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Humberto Gabirel came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the KINETICO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Gabirel couldn't finish the play. Angelo Mouricio struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Freddy Luken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KINETICO FC. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Humberto Gabirel sped through La Banda de la Patri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddy Luken. Tauras Vilčinskas struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Freddy Luken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KINETICO FC. Humberto Gabirel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Luken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Victor Iliana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Banda de la Patri and the KINETICO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, La Banda de la Patri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Iliana to maneuver through the defense. If Tadeo Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Humberto Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot. KINETICO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Gabirel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Luken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Delmar Edorta in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KINETICO FC's Tadeo Abad. In the 97th minute, Humberto Gabirel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that KINETICO FC were the better team. KINETICO FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
