Abelardo Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Edwardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Desiderio Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Gonza made a kick off. Damian Charro might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Alvarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Charro ran back to his position shaking his head. Abelardo Urritz made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Rogelio Inocente sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 56 minutes, Victorio Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pupuna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Gonza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Foyel's Eugenio Faron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Alvarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Moises Mon charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Eugenio Faron sped through Pupuna FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Desiderio Alvarez. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Cosme Edwardo put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Desiderio Alvarez.
