Carmelo Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Humberto Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Timo having to interfere. If Eulalio Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Angelo Mouricio charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Oscar Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Montes got free with Cleto Timo in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
