After a rather tough play, CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO's Donato Cordeiro got a free kick in the 9th minute. Teodoro Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Victor Iliana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Banda de la Patri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO the free kick. Sharma Manteca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Freddy Luken when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Sharma Manteca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sharma Manteca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Freddy Luken made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Eli came free, but Teodoro Cugat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO's zone, Ildefonso Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Cugat came out of the goal and Ildefonso Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Piarres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ildefonso Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Teodoro Cugat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Cugat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Abreu in the 28th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sharma Manteca to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Pastor Azevedo put in a rough tackle. 54 minutes into the game, one of CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 60th minute, Fulgencio Piarres made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Cugat. CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Fulgencio Piarres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Teodoro Cugat made a huge save. In the 72nd match minute, La Banda de la Patri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Edorta to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CHESPIPERNAMBUCANO! Teodoro Cugat went to the wrong direction when Cristobal Sadurni was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The referee showed Rene Corderro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
