Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delmiro Ebardo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of RN5 booed when Herrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Ciro Roland notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Herrera's Saturnino Cebo. Saturnino Cebo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saturnino Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Inguma in the 12th minute of the match. RN5's Primitivo Urritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Lehior in the 16th minute of play. Herrera's Saturnino Cebo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Herrera from getting a goal against them. If Delmiro Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carolo Berdaitz fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herrera's protests and gave Carolo Berdaitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Carolo Berdaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Herrera's goalkeeper Saturnino Cebo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Roland. Delmiro Ebardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primitivo Urritz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Ebardo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Valentin Burni had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Garaona during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Vicente Garaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Urritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Lehior, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Inguma made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Roland in the 54th minute of play forced Herrera's goalkeeper Saturnino Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Roland in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Herrera got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Berdaitz. Saturnino Cebo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Roland went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Gustavo Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Urritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Lehior in the 68th minute. In the 74th match minute, Herrera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Confesor to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Lehior's late challenge caught a RN5's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Lehior helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RN5 booed when Herrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herrera's Saturnino Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Inguma in the 90th minute of play. Delmiro Ebardo charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Ebardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Herrera's Delmiro Ebardo got a free kick in the 96th minute. After recieving a nice pass, RN5's Santo Marquez tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Herrera's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
