Once Calvas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 16 minutes of play, Once Calvas FC's Aaron Francho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfredo Acevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Maradona's Gogo Ralondo got a free kick in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Once Calvas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Salbatore came free, but Aldo Evangelista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Shantala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Jose Muc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Maradona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Muc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Once Calvas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Muc came free, but Aldo Evangelista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Constantino Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Acevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Francho in the 42nd minute. Once Calvas FC's Constantino Shantala got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Salbatore got free with Aldo Evangelista in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Muc's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Aldo Evangelista skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aldo Evangelista made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Dario Salbatore sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Juan Pero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Once Calvas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Pero to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Once Calvas FC's Aldo Evangelista got control of the ball when Dario Salbatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Raul Casado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Maradona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Once Calvas FC the free kick. The supporters of Once Calvas FC booed when Club Atlético Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Wilfredo Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Once Calvas FC booed when Club Atlético Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Lamberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Evangelista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Muc's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Once Calvas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Estevon to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Constantino Shantala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Acevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With a little luck, Once Calvas FC's Aldo Evangelista got control of the ball when Dario Salbatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Aaron Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3-2 became the score in the 93rd minute when Dario Salbatore elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
