In the 18th minute, Ovidio Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Ebardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Osorio having to make a save. Gustavo Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Mancarrones F.C's goalkeeper Ruperto Osorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Lehior. When Delmiro Ebardo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Herrera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Ebardo couldn't finish the play. Ruperto Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Ebardo in the 36th minute of play. Gustavo Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Osorio having to interfere. Mancarrones F.C's Melquiades Argoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Herrera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Confesor to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmiro Ebardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Lehior, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Tomás Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mancarrones F.C's Melquiades Argoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Herrera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnino Cebo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Ebardo in the 60th minute of play forced Mancarrones F.C's goalkeeper Ruperto Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mancarrones F.C's Ruperto Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Ebardo in the 62nd minute of play. If Delmiro Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Saturnino Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Melquiades Argoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruperto Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Lehior, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Tomás Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Delmiro Ebardo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mancarrones F.C's Ruperto Osorio. Ruperto Osorio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herrera's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
