In the 30th minute, Denis Mingo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saturnino Cebo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After having played for 42 minutes, Valentin Burni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herrera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Burni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Ebardo in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Delmiro Ebardo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Herrera getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Carolo Berdaitz hit a great ball. Delmiro Ebardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Lehior scored 2-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Galtero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Gustavo Lehior ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Galtero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Delmiro Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Galtero having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Herrera's Gustavo Lehior made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Galtero was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Gustavo Lehior's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Galtero was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Herrera fully deserved thier win.
