After having played for 55 minutes, Pedro Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Famatina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Frisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corpus FC's Prudencio Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Silbestre in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes in the game, Pedro Frisco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Prudencio Ourente having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Famatina's Astor Silbestre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. If Astor Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Frisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Rigoberto Lawrence shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
