After a rather tough play, G.E.R F.C's Victor Sauveur got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cayetano Luar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitmer's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Luar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Erramu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vitmer's Marcos Walme got a free kick in the 18th minute. Isaias Hitzeder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdo Munhoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Gil notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of G.E.R F.C's Bernardo Erramu. Bernardo Erramu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Vitmer's Gaston Ilazki got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, G.E.R F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Bazkoare came free, but Bernardo Erramu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. G.E.R F.C's Bernardo Erramu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Bazkoare in the 30th minute of play. Albano Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Erramu having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Roberto Bazkoare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Erramu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Amado Venerando hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Roberto Bazkoare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdo Munhoz made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Domingo Damario sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Roberto Bazkoare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gervasio Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Victor Sauveur fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G.E.R F.C's protests and gave Victor Sauveur a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Bazkoare to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, G.E.R F.C's Jonas Gorbea got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Gervasio Argenis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G.E.R F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Argenis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Bazkoare might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Erramu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Bazkoare ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonas Gorbea kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Lisandro Arnas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitmer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Arnas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Bazkoare in the 70th minute of play forced G.E.R F.C's goalkeeper Bernardo Erramu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, G.E.R F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Hitzeder to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Bernardo Erramu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute of the match Melquiades Liher sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Erramu skillfully saved the ball. Bernardo Erramu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albano Orixe's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Vitmer played a much better game than G.E.R F.C and deserved their victory. The G.E.R F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
