Spectators: 7034 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 5) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saverio Fonso started the match with the kick off. Isaias Hitzeder charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaias Hitzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for C. A. Barracas Central. Cosme Ritchie stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernardo Erramu. 0-1. In the 9th minute, G.E.R F.C's Gervasio Argenis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. C. A. Barracas Central's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gervasio Argenis 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Gervasio Argenis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G.E.R F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Argenis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Igor Bidari managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when G.E.R F.C's Gervasio Argenis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saverio Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bernardo Erramu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of G.E.R F.C booed when C. A. Barracas Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Barracas Central's goalkeeper Igor Bidari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldo Galindo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Gervasio Argenis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to G.E.R F.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Marcelo Peyo hit a great ball. With a little luck, C. A. Barracas Central's Igor Bidari got control of the ball when Domingo Damario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gervasio Argenis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igor Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Damario in the 58th minute of play. Igor Bidari came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by G.E.R F.C's Domingo Damario. But to his dismay, Domingo Damario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Angel Abar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bernardo Erramu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Erramu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Fonso's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Marcelo Peyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Igor Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Argenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, C. A. Barracas Central's Florentino Itzaina got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Isaias Hitzeder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Bidari showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Igor Bidari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Argenis went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. C. A. Barracas Central's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
