Lindar Webster was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emiliano Lordi stood somewhat misplaced when Ahmet Sedat Tanbay came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 14 minute. 18 minutes into the game, Avant Garde FC's Gerardo Hernando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Lordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Sedat Tanbay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Lordi was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When Everardo Frantzes fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viejas & Virgenes FC's protests and gave Everardo Frantzes a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sedat Tanbay in the 30th minute of play forced Viejas & Virgenes FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Lordi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Sedat Tanbay's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Lindar Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Marin in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lucio Ieltxu made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Avant Garde FC's Ahmet Sedat Tanbay made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Lordi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute Vladimiro Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Avant Garde FC's Ahmet Sedat Tanbay in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Emiliano Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Sedat Tanbay in the 72nd minute of play. If Liu Zheng Bin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Sedat Tanbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Damian Huchro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Lordi was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. After 90 minutes, Abelardo Pello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viejas & Virgenes FC and the Avant Garde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 89 minutes into the game, one of Viejas & Virgenes FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ahmet Sedat Tanbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Sedat Tanbay in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Lordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Avant Garde FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
